Renata Nyul is the vice president for communications at Northeastern University, where she oversees the Office of Communications within External Affairs. Nyul leads the development and implementation of strategic internal and external communications efforts to position the institution as an innovation leader in higher education.
She leads strategic media relations efforts to position Northeastern in the national and global press. Her team of media relations professionals, journalists, digital storytellers, and social media specialists engage with various audiences in innovative and interactive ways across multiple platforms.
She has led the development of Northeastern Global News (NGN), the primary resource for news and information about the university. NGN covers the university, and the world, by providing commentary and analysis on timely topics of national and global importance.
Prior to joining Northeastern in 2005, Nyul spent several years at a boutique public relations firm representing tech companies.
