Renata Nyul is the vice president for communications at Northeastern University, where she oversees the Office of Communications within External Affairs. Nyul leads the development and implementation of strategic internal and external communications efforts to position the institution as an innovation leader in higher education.
Her team of media relations professionals and digital storytellers engage with various audiences in innovative and interactive ways. She has led the development of News@Northeastern as a multimedia platform for delivering news about the university.
Prior to joining Northeastern in 2005, Nyul spent several years at a boutique public relations firm, where she worked with the press to position technology companies.
A native of Europe, Nyul lives in Southie and loves it.
